Privacy Notice

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Méllon respects the personal information people share when asking about a project. This notice explains the website enquiry process in plain English.

What is collected

When you send an enquiry, Méllon collects your name, work email, company, message, and any optional phone, reply preference, or referral information you provide. The form also records the landing page, referrer, campaign parameters, submission time, and an anonymised request identifier for security.

Why it is collected

The information is used to assess and respond to your enquiry, prevent spam and abuse, understand which website journeys lead to useful conversations, and maintain an appropriate record of business correspondence.

Where it is processed

The website is hosted by Vercel. Enquiries are stored using Upstash and email notifications are delivered using Resend. Cloudflare Turnstile may be used for spam protection, and Vercel Analytics may process limited usage information. These providers may process data outside South Africa under their contractual safeguards.

How long it is kept

Website enquiry records are configured to expire after 12 months unless a longer period is required for an active client relationship, legal obligation, dispute, or legitimate business record.

Who receives it

Nate Colby receives and handles website enquiries. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the site or with specialist collaborators when this is necessary, appropriate, and agreed for an engagement.

Your choices and rights

You may ask what information is held about you, request correction or deletion where applicable, or object to its use by emailing nate@mellonaiagency.com. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator.
