About
Started from injury.Built from something we genuinely love.
Méllon was built under real pressure — not as a trend play or a side project, but as something worth staking years on. That urgency still runs through how we work every day.

How it started.
Two torn ACLs and a couch with too much time on it.
Tearing your ACL once is brutal. Twice — before you're twenty — is a different kind of wake-up call.
The first time it happened, competitive surfing was suddenly off the table and the calendar cleared completely. Like most people stuck unable to do the thing they love, the internet became a rabbit hole. Seeing people build businesses online, move fast, generate real income — part of it was curiosity. A bigger part of it was something more honest: I need to be doing something, and I need to start making money.
So the building started. Nothing serious at first — just pulling apart how digital businesses actually worked, what made them run, where the gaps were. But something unexpected happened somewhere in that process.
It stopped feeling like something I'm just doing to keep me busy and started to feel like something I genuinely love to do.
The turning point.
The second injury made it non-negotiable.
Three months after being fully back surfing after being out for 7 months and having already won a contest, it happened again, this time longer - another year out.
That was the moment everything shifted. A year without competing, without progression, without the thing that had defined the last several years. The pressure was real and the stakes were clear - build something, do something, find a way to make money and make something happen.
AI was moving fast, it was at a really pivotal part, and I just became immersed in the space.

What actually happened next.
We fell in love with building things that work.
What nobody tells you about getting deep into AI is that the tools aren't the interesting part. The interesting part is what happens when something you built starts running in a real business.
Watching an automation remove three hours of daily manual work from someone's plate. Seeing a system go live that means a business owner stops losing sleep over something operational. Building something that makes a genuine difference to how a company runs — not in a demo, not in theory, in the actual day-to-day.
That's what Méllon was built around. Not because AI is the trend of the moment. Because building things of real value is what we genuinely love doing.
We learned by shipping. Testing automations, breaking workflows, rebuilding them, and understanding not just how these tools work — but how they fail, and what that means when someone's actual business depends on them. That hands-on obsession is still how every project runs.
Today
Fully recovered. Still competing. Fully committed.
Surfing is still a serious pursuit — competing at an international level while running Méllon isn't a contradiction. It's where the discipline that runs through every client build actually comes from.
The standards are the same in both. Show up prepared. Execute properly. Don't stop until it's right. You either do the work or you don't. There's no middle ground in competitive surfing and there's no middle ground in building systems that real businesses depend on.
Méllon is built to run with full professional standards regardless of what's happening on the water. That was non-negotiable from day one.
